Jordan Finfrock

Finance and operations leader. Air Force veteran. Founder.

The best things are found, not fed to you.

I grew up in Idaho with a GPS in one hand and a trail map in the other. I'm an Air Force veteran, a Missoula local, and above all a dad of two young daughters. I now build Cedarlume, geospatial software for people and organizations who need to engage with the physical world and trust the record behind it.

Trouvé is, in a real sense, built for my kids. I want them to grow up where technology points you toward real places and real people instead of replacing them, where community isn't a comment section, and where an afternoon of discovery ends at a local shop counter instead of a checkout screen. I have a B.S. in Applied Computational Mathematics with a minor in Aerospace Studies, and an MBA.

01The record

Eight years, in numbers.

  • 01

    $64B

personnel budget managed and reconciled across enterprise ERP and HR systems

  • 02

    $111M

variance found through reconciliation; 742 funded positions restored

  • 03

    $1.2M/yr

saved by automating manual reporting in R and VBA

  • 04

    320,000

people covered by a Power BI planning dashboard built in four months

  • 05

    30.2%

    year-over-year revenue growth on a $72M P&L, top result across 89 sites

  • 06

    18

directorates brought onto one standard planning process in six months

02Approach

What I actually do

I take a messy problem, find the data that explains it, build the model or the process that fixes it, and then tell the story so the people who need to decide can decide.

I've done that for generals and Congress, for an 89,000-person command, and for the 20 small businesses that pay for the app I cofounded.

I'm at my best where the process doesn't exist yet. Twice I've walked into an organization with no planning system and left it with one that leadership trusted within six months. The $111M discrepancy wasn't a lucky catch. It was what you find when you reconcile every record to source instead of trusting the summary.

I'm a math guy with an MBA who learned to lead by running a 126-person operation at 26. I use AI tools the way I used to use VBA: to get the manual work out of the way so the thinking gets the time.

Things I've built

Products I founded or built myself, outside of a job description.

Trouvé

A real-world treasure hunt that sends people into local businesses. The unit of value is a verified in-store visit.

Users find drops on a map, walk in, and redeem at the counter. Partners get something no ad platform has: verified foot traffic from customers who chose to show up. I built the operating model, the pricing, the partner reporting, and the SQL analytics stack, and I sell it door to door in Missoula.

  • 20 paying partner accounts in Missoula; 80% of trials converted to paid
  • Monthly partner briefs and investor updates automated with SQL and Claude, days to hours
  • Expanding to the Gallatin Valley and Boise
  • Pursuing B Corp certification
  • React Native
  • Expo
  • Supabase
  • SQL
  • Next.js

Helot

Pick your brands. Get one feed of everything they've marked down.

A consumer deal-feed app I scoped, designed, and shipped on my own using Cursor: web app live, native builds in TestFlight, affiliate feeds from 100+ brands, and a daily rewards loop. Proof that I can take an idea from a napkin to a working product without a team.

  • Web app live at shophelot.com
  • Expo, Supabase, and Node worker stack, affiliate feeds rather than scraping
  • Built in weeks, not quarters
  • Expo
  • Supabase
  • Node
  • Next.js

Cedarlume

Geofenced engagement software for the field, shipped as products and as white-label infrastructure.

Cedarlume is where I build location-native software that shows who showed up, what they did, and whether it mattered. The same engine ships as consumer apps and as white-label infrastructure for nonprofits, campuses, and GovCon clients. Nodus is safe zones, check-ins, and geo-alerts for campuses and field teams, and it keeps working when the network does not. LumenAIte is the analysis layer: real-time pattern recognition, geo-behavioral modeling, and predictive recommendations across the platform. Foragr is the volunteer product, in free pilot, built to turn one-time volunteers into people who come back.

  • Nodus: geofenced check-ins, safety alerts, and offline-first crisis mode for schools and field teams. Custom engagement.
  • LumenAIte: real-time analysis, pattern recognition, and geo-behavioral modeling across every Cedarlume product. Custom engagement.
  • Foragr: a social volunteer platform in free pilot, with gamified missions that bring people back.
  • React Native
  • Node.js
  • Firebase
  • AI/ML
